Join Chef Ragini from Third Culture Cooks as she takes you on an exploration of comfort foods for the third cultured kid. From a Middle-Eastern inspired Mac and Cheese to a very grown-up trifle, and everything in between. This is a menu very personal to the chef, and is best shared around a table with your friends! Salud!
Menu will include:
Soup course: Roasted tomato and garlic soup with basil, served with crusty bread
Appetizer course: Za’atar Mac and cheese, with creamy cheddar and halumi. Served with roasted brussel sprouts and a sumac slaw
Salad course: Sweet potato & feta salad, with arugula, onion, spicy candied nuts and lentils. Served with an olive oil dressing
Main course non veg: Tandoori roast chicken, served with poshto mashed potatoes, dal makhani, wilted spinach and milk bread
Main course veg: Tandoori cauliflower, served with served with poshto mashed potatoes, dal makhani, wilted spinach and milk bread
Dessert course: A very grown-up trifle, with nods to English, Middle Eastern, American and Indian desserts: a dark chocolate brownie base, with a salted caramel Crème, baklava brittle and fresh strawberries

Chef Ragini has lived and worked across seven countries in the Middle East, North America, Europe and now India. Her passion is in bringing classic food to gather around a table. Her 'Comfort Food' menu is very special to her as it allows her to showcase her favourite foods from different regions and different times in her life.
