La Folie Lab Style Waffles
Ingredients for La Folie Lab Style Waffles :
-Milk: 200 g
-Flour: 175 g
-Egg yolk: 2 yolks
-Vanilla extract: 1-2 tsp
-Pancake syrup or honey: 2 tsp
-Butter: 100 g
-Baking powder: 2 g
-Egg white: 3 egg whites
-Sugar: 45 g
-A dash of cinnamon
How to Make Waffles at Home?
-Blend the milk, flour, baking powder, yolks, vanilla, pancake syrup, and warm melted butter.
-Whip the egg whites and sugar to soft peaks and fold in gently in the base.
-Preheat your waffle pan to 180c and lightly butter the iron plates. Pour a ladle of waffle batter and bake for 5-7 mins (or as per time required by your waffle pan) until golden brown.
-Serve with caramelised bananas, Nutella, leftover fruits in the fridge, sprinkle some icing sugar, or just eat it plain with some maple and butter!
